Chemical peels
Fresher, brighter, smoother skin revealed.
Over time, dead skin cells build up on the surface of our skin, leaving it dull, uneven and congested. A chemical peel gently removes those old, tired layers so the fresh, healthy skin underneath can shine through.
Peels are one of the best ways to refresh your complexion, improve the look of texture and tone, and give your skin a glow that make-up just can’t fake. They also help your skincare work harder, because your products can absorb better once the build-up is cleared away.
I use professional, clinically formulated peels and every peel is chosen and tailored to your skin type and concerns.
What can a chemical peel help with?
- Dull, tired-looking skin that has lost its glo
- Uneven skin tone and pigmentation, including sun damage and age spot
- Rough or uneven textur
- Congestion, breakouts and blackhead
- The appearance of enlarged pore
- Fine lines and early signs of ageing
- The appearance of mild acne scarring
Which peel is right for me
There isn’t one peel that suits everyone. At your consultation, I’ll look at your skin and choose the right type and strength for you.
Light peels – Gentle, refreshing peels for glow, brightness and smoother texture. Very little downtime, perfect before an event or as regular skin maintenance.
Targeted peels – Peels designed for specific concerns, such as breakouts and congestion, pigmentation, or fine lines and texture.
Stronger peels – For more noticeable results on pigmentation, texture and signs of ageing. Expect a few days of visible peeling, so plan around your diary.
Autumn and winter are peel season. Peels make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so the cooler, darker months are the ideal time to start a course and have your skin at its best by spring.
Your consultation
Every peel starts with a skin consultation. We’ll talk about your skin concerns, your current skincare routine and your medical history. A patch test may be needed before your first peel. For some peels, I may recommend preparing your skin with specific homecare products for a couple of weeks beforehand. This helps you get the best and safest result.
Who isn’t suitable?
Chemical peels may not be suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have taken Roaccutane (isotretinoin) in the last 6–12 months, have an active cold sore, infection or broken skin in the area, have recently been tanned or sunburnt, or have certain skin conditions. Some skin types need a more careful approach to avoid pigmentation, which is why a consultation is always needed first.

FAQ's
Will my face peel a lot?
Not necessarily. Many light peels cause little or no visible peeling, just a little dryness or flaking. Stronger peels peel more, and I’ll always tell you what to expect before we start.
Can I have a peel before a big event?
A light peel can be lovely before an event, but I’d recommend booking at least one week before. For stronger peels, allow at least two weeks.
Can peels be combined with other treatments?
Yes. Peels work beautifully as part of a skin plan alongside microneedling, skin boosters or polynucleotides. You can also add a Vitamin Booster to your appointment to support your skin from the inside out.
